Season 2 of Hulu horror anthology series Castle Rock will expand the scope of its Stephen King source material to include Jerusalem’s Lot, the setting of vampire novel ‘Salem’s Lot. The upcoming season will begin a new story, starring Tim Robbins, Garret Hedlund, and Elsie Fisher, with Lizzy Caplan playing infamous fangirl Annie Wilkes from King’s novel Misery. Castle Rock isn’t based on any one King novel in particular, but is instead an original work based around the idea that there is something fundamentally wrong with the titular town (which has featured in several of King’s works), and that’s why so many unsettling and evil things happen there....
