An Android 4.4.3 firmware with Sense 6.0 has made its way to the Internet for the HTC One M7 in the form of a custom ROM, just a couple of weeks after Google rolled out the update for its Nexus and Google Play edition devices. The leak comes courtesy of LlabTooFeR, a renowned developer in the HTC community and known for his MaximusHD series of ROM. The 4.4.3 based firmware for HTC’s last year flagship brings a number of improvements in the camera, battery and audio department....

At the end of this week, HTC has a “For U” event planned, where it’s expected the company will unveil a brand new flagship. That high-end smartphone is said to be codenamed “Ocean Note,” and, thanks to images recently published on the social network Weibo, what is said to be the first look at the handset has been revealed. The images show off the protruding camera on the back, along with capacitive buttons on either side of a front-facing fingerprint reader....

Huawei develops its own K3V2 quad-core processor The real shocker from Huawei was not the announcement of Ascend D quad, but rather the company’s very own K3V2 quad-core processor, which is clocked as high as 1.5GHz and has 16 core GPS that offers 2X performance. Though there were some hints about company developing its own processors, the timing has taken the tech world by storm. Huawei claims it has the lowest chip temperature on the market, and the smallest footprint....

The videos, first spotted by Droidfe, show an Android ar smartwatch with a round screen that, unlike the Moto 360, is actually completely round. At its IFA press conference in Berlin, HTC has just announced its latest Desire handset with an octa-core 64-bit chip from Qualcomm — the Desire 820. The Desire 820 is the first handset to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chip — which consists of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1GHz for a perfect balance between power and battery life. Besides the bump in processing power, the handset is similar to the Desire 816 in most ways....

In a press release, Hulu explains that support for offline downloading is available only to subscribers of the ad-free Hulu plan. This means that users of the ad-supported tier will not be able to download shows and movies offline. Furthermore, once you download a title, you’ll have 30 days to watch it before it expires. Uruguayan filmmaker Fede Álvarez made a deal with a Twitter user that if his home country wins the World Cup, he will make Evil Dead 2. The horror genre has gotten its fair amount of remakes and reboots in recent years, with Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead getting the remake treatment in 2013 with Fede Álvarez behind the camera. And most of what we knew about the M8 ime came from @evleaks, too. th nothing else to go on, it seems as though the ime is dead in the water. Even if the M8 ime is dead, most of what would have made it special may live on in another smartphone....

Recently, leaks emerged on the web regarding the Huawei’s upcoming smartwatch. Now, it seems that the leak was pointing to the Huawei Fit, but it’s more of a fitness tracker. Unlike what most were expecting, the Huawei Fit doesn’t run on Android Wear. The looks-wise, it sports a circular 1.04 inch (208x208p) LCD display. Essentially, the Fit looks eerily similar to the Pebble Time Round. The Huawei Fit comes with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance....
