HTC has done a surprisingly good job of keeping its next-generation One M9 a secret until now, but with just one week to go until its grand unveiling at Mobile World Congress, the handset’s specifications have been leaked — alongside what are claimed to be genuine pictures of the device in a number of colors. The leak was spotted by Mobile Geeks, which found the specifications and images on German retail site Cyberport....

In all its wiseness, Google ended up removing certain APIs from Android 9.0 Pie that led to all third-party call recording apps from working. This means that if your device does not come with native call recording option, there’s no way you will be able to record calls on it. Thankfully, Huawei was smart enough to include call recording natively on the Huawei P30 series. While call recording is not allowed legally in some parts of the world, Huawei ships the P30 series with the option enabled across all the regions where it sells the phones....
Earlier this year in February, Google rolled out Android 11 Developer Preview 1 to its Pixel devices. Via The New York Times, hundreds of fake shopping apps have been hitting the App Store in the last few weeks, stealing recognizable brand names and logos, in an attempt to confuse App Store customers to download their counterfeit apps instead of the real thing. The fraudsters are attempting to capitalize on the holiday shopping season. Examples include apps masquerading as brands like Puma and FootLocker; the screenshot above shows how apps using trademarked names and logos were published by a company called ‘Footlocke Sports’ in an attempt to deceive customers....
According to The Nature Conservancy India, Lake Sembakkam has long suffered from sewage disposal, untreated solid waste dumping, and excessive accumulated silt as a result of climate change. Hulu has been teasing its upcoming live TV service for several months now and openly discussing its target price of around $40/month. A glitch on iCloud.com suggests that Apple will soon add a way to view iCloud Bookmarks on the iCloud.com portal. The screen, shown above, appears briefly at this URL when users try to install the Chrome extension from the iCloud Control Panel for Windows. The screen clearly says that “iCloud Bookmarks are coming soon. Please come back later”. While the message may be referring to the iCloud Bookmarks extension, as the URL slug is ‘bookmarks_extension’, this doesn’t really make sense as browser extensions have already been released by Apple for several months and are available for both Chrome and Firefox....
