Design and Display
Huawei Honor View 20 comes with Glass panels on the front side as well as on the back side along with an aluminum frame which offers a more premium look. The back panel of the phone comes with 3D glass with V-shaped texture that changes colors when light reflects on it from different angles. The Honor View 20 comes with almost same specifications as the Honor V20.
The Honor View 20 has 6.4-inch IPS LCD display panel which supports 1080 x 2310 pixels of resolution. The display of the phone has small cut-out punch-hole at the top-left corner for the selfie camera. The diameter of the punch hole is 4.5mm which allows the phone to offers more screen to body ratio. It offers 91.82% screen to body ratio. It also offers 382 PPI density.
Processor and Memory
The View 20 powered by Octa-Core CPU under the hood along with HiSilicon Kirin 980 (7 nm) Chipset. The phone will available in three RAM and ROM variants, one comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage, second comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage and last top model comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no micro SD card slot on the board of the phone. It also comes with Liquid Cooling technology.
Camera
the Honor View 20 featured with horizontal dual camera sensors along with LED flash. The phone has 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main camera sensor and a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) stereo secondary camera sensor. The main rear camera of the phone has f/1.8 aperture and 0.8µm pixel size. The phone comes with 4-into-1 pixel binding technology which is called superpixels by the company. The camera also featured with Artificial Image Stabilization feature for super night view mode, and super slow-motion HD quality video recording at 960 fps.
The secondary 3D ToF camera sensor used for depth sensing, motion capture, skeletal tracking. Users can also play 3D motion games. On the front side, The phone comes with a 25-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls. It also comes with AI enabled.
Battery, Connectivity and Other Features
The Honor View 20 runs on Android Pie operating system out of the box which is based on Magic UI 2 running on top. On the board, it has improved GPU Turbo 2.0 technology. The phone also comes with NINE liquid cooling systems. The View 20 packed with Non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery inside the body which supports Fast battery charging 5V/4.5A 22.5W. The phone can be charged up to 55% in just 30 minutes of charging. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back side of the phone. It also comes with 3.5mm audio jack port. In terms of connectivity, the phone has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, aptX HD, LE, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NFC, USB 3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go.
Honor View 20 Price and Release Date
The Huawei Honor View 20 6 GB RAM and 128 GB model available in at Rs. 37,999 (~$534) price tag which is going on sale on tomorrow. There is another Honor View 20 variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage available at Rs.45 ,999 (~$646) price tag in India, but the phone is not available tomorrow for the sale, it coming soon. The View 20 available in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black color options.
