After several times leaked, rumours and teased, Huawei sub-brand smartphone unveiled officially, called Huawei Honor Note 10. The company released Honor Note series two years back. Many leaked and rumored specs details of the phone out to be true, but the phone still to surprise us with its unexpected features.
Today, the company launched the Honor Note 10 smartphone in China officially. The highlighted features of the phone, 6.96-inch Full HD display. It comes with GPU Turbo support technology which recently launched. It also supports taller 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby panoramic audio feature under the hood. Just like most of the high-end smartphone, it comes with dual rear camera sensors with artificial intelligence (AI). The company used “The Nine Liquid Cooling Technology” to cool down the phone.
Huawei Honor Note 10 Design
The Huawei Honor Note 10 is a monster smartphone phone. the body dimensions of the phone are 177 x 85 x 7.7 mm and weighs 230 grams. The Honor Note 10 comes with 2.5D curved glass panels on the front as well as on the back side. It has an aluminium frame. Nowadays, most of the smartphone manufacturer offers a notch design on their phone, but Huawei ditches the notch design. Which is good for who don’t like notch design. On the back side, the back penal has a special metal oxide nano-coating. We have seen recently launched Honor brand smartphones with the same design.
The phone comes with very thin bezels on the sides of the phone. On the top of the front panel, there is a bezel space that carries a selfie camera and sensors and on the bottom side, there is an Honor brand logo below the display. On the right side, there are volume rocker key and unlock and power button. On the left side, there is a Hybrid Dual SIM slot on board. On the bottom edge, there are stereo speakers and there is a USB Type-C port between the speakers. On the back side, there is dual camera sensors on the top left corner and LED flash blew the camera. There is an Honor brand logo too on the left bottom of the back panel. There is a hardware button on the right side of the phone for Double Turbo feature.
The company launched the two color variants of the Huawei Honor Note 10 smartphone, phantom blue (a mixture of violet and blue) and magic night black.
Huawei Honor Note 10 Specifications
Huawei’s latest Honor Note series smartphone comes with 6.95-inch AMOLED display that supports 1080 x 2220 pixels of resolution and offers 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The display of the phone supports 600 nits brightness and 70,000:1 contrast ratio. The phone also comes with HDR10 standard which offers better color range while watching videos and images. The company claims that the Honor Note 10 uses AI to intelligently fill pixels on the screen which makes it more vibrant.
Huawei Honor Note 10 powered by Dual Quad-Core CPU under the hood along with the company’s HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset. There are two RAM variants of the phone available, 6 GB and 8 GB. The 6 GB RAM Honor Note 10 comes with 64 GB internal storage and 128 GB internal storage options. While the 8 GB RAM model has 128 GB internal storage. Both models have a micro SD card slot on board. The phone is packed with Non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh capacity battery inside the body. At the launch event, the company said that the users can play wilderness action for up to 4.5 hours and king of glory for up to 6.5 hours. The Honor Note 10 also supports 5V 4.5A super fast charging charger that able to be topped up this massive battery much faster.
The company said that the phone is for best for the gaming experience, but the phone also a good option for office and business use. The Honor Note 10 support 1080p wired as well as wireless projection. It also supports split display mode. Huawei’s Honor Note 10 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box along with EMUI 8.2 UI running on top.
In terms of cameras, there are dual camera sensors on the back side of the phone. There is a 24-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture and 16-megapixel secondary camera with the same f/1.8 aperture. Which means the rear camera will offer same experience and quality as the Huawei’s Honor 10 smartphone. The phone also comes with AIS (Artificial Image Stabilisation) and an LED flash module which will help you to take good pictures in the night or low conditions. The rear camera of the Honor Note 10 supports 8 scenes such as outdoor blue sky, night scene, indoor and green plants among others. On the front side, there is a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls. It also supports the Face Unlock feature.
Apart from these features, the phone also comes with a special CPU Turbo button which placed on the right side. Users can customize the button according to their needs, recording button during gameplay or as a shutter button in camera mode. The Honor Note 10 comes with GPU turbo as well.
Huawei Honor 10 Price and Availability
The company launched the Huawei Honor Note 10 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage model at CNY 2,799 ($409) price tag, the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model available at CNY 3,199 ($468) and the top model of Honor Note 10 with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage available at CNY 3,599 ($527) price tag. The phone will go on sale on August 1 via Huawei’s Vmall, Jd.com, Suning.com, and Tmall.
