HTC has launched a new smartphone in its lineup which is the HTC Desire 555. The HTC Desire 555 is the latest smartphone from the company in the HTC Desire lineup which is known for coming with the budget options from the company. Talking about the HTC Desire 555, the smartphone has been launched exclusively by the carrier Cricket Wireless in the US. The US carrier has also revealed the pricing details of the Desire 555 at the launch of the smartphone and the smartphone will be available for only $119 in the Cricket Wireless stores in the US.

Now, talking about the specialties and specifications of the smartphone, the Desire 555 comes with 5-inch HD display which is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core processor. As far as the internals of the smartphone are concerned, the HTC Desire 555 has an 8MP rear-facing camera with 4x digital zoom and LED flash and 5MP front camera for selfies and video chat. Under the hood the phone packs in 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. As far as the software of the Desire 555 is concerned, the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the HTC Sense UI on top of that. Apart from that, the HTC Desire 555 has a 2200 mAh battery which powers the device for at least a day on moderate usage. As far as the battery on the smartphone is concerned, it is slightly less compared to the current smartphones but looking at the pricing of the smartphone, this seems to be justified. As far as the availability of the smartphone is concerned, we have already mentioned that the smartphone will be sold locked and come with Cricket Wireless network. As far as the color options of the smartphone are concerned, the phone is painted only in Dark Gray hue option currently.
