HP’s Android based tablets might not have met with success but that has not stopped the company from trying. Today, the company has released two tablets phablets with a 6-inch and 7-inch screen, respectively, that can also make phone calls and are meant for India.  The Slate6 VoiceTab and Slate7 VoiceTab are powered by an unspecified quad-core (probably A7 based), pack 16GB of storage, HD cameras in the front and rear, front-facing stereo speakers, dual SIM slots and a microSD card slot. The 6-inch Slate has a 720p resolution, while the 7-inch one sports a resolution of 1280*800. The only design highlight of these Slate tablets is the “premium, pixilated, scratch-resistant back cover design”. The 3G equipped tablets will be running on Android 4.2.2 out of the box, when they are released in India in February. HP did not mention anything about the pricing of these tablets except for mentioning that they will offer “great value” to the consumers.
