You get signed to an agency and you’re absolutely nervous. You’re possibly 14, 15, or 16 hoping to make a move in the modeling industry. For Look Modeling in San Francisco, the next step starts at defined coaching and moral support.

Look Modeling agent Ingrid Olivas makes sure that her newly signed girls are ready for the real world, “we want to make sure that these girls aren’t uncomfortable when they go to a go-see or a test shoot. We want to build a community amongst them.”

Started in 1986, Look has been growing successful models in an ever changing industry — we mean, can we talk about America’s Next Top Model Devin Clark?

The day starts off with an overview of the agency — the ethos, expectations, and introductions take place. From there, Ingrid pulls the ladies over one by one to snap their possibly first digitals. Digitals are an important tool to see what a model looks like in present day (besides their portfolio.) After all digitals have been taken, men’s booker Al Lacayo works with the new faces to craft a runway walk suited for them. Take a look below about how the day went for the new faces of Look Modeling.
